Today is Father’s Day! A day that I am proud to take part in, not just as a father but also as a son. So many of us spend much of our childhood under the care of our mother that we tend to forget that someone else played a big roll in our upbringing as well.

While Mother’s Day is pretty special, we tend to treat our mom’s with just a tiny bit more devotion year-round​ than dear old dad. 

Why? It’s difficult to say. 

But, one thing is certain, that dad’s enjoys having a special just a little bit more than mom does.

 It’s an opportunity for him to kick back, relax, watch his favourite sport, and spend time with his family doing what dad does best. Grilling! 
If you haven’t already, take the time to call your dad, your grandpa, your step dad, or favourite uncle and let them know you care. I’m sure they’ll​ appreciate it!
