Hello again, everyone!! It’s been nearly 3 years since my last post. Man, isn’t that embarrassing? 

A lot has changed since my last visit with you all. For one, Mads is now four years old and growing everyday. She started preschool and is thriving in a lot of ways. I also started in a new position with the company I had been working for and am quickly approaching my 5 year anniversary.

Another big change happened in my relationship. Sadly, my wife and I have split up and are in the process of getting a divorce. I’ll spare you all the grim details but I will just say that the last 3 years have been, to quote the 1996 Counting Crows hit, “A Long December.”

It’s easy to point fingers and assign blame for anything that goes wrong in a relationship. To quote another song “There ain’t no good guy, there ain’t no bad guy. There’s only you and me and we just disagree.” 

As things change in our lives and new situations develop, it’s important that we change with them. As a consequence of things changing, becoming busy with work, or focusing on other projects I stopped writing and lost the joy that I receive nfrom it. 

It’s time that I change again!! I have some new and exciting things planned for this blog. Hopefully, you all stick around and see!
