Madison is officially 5 years old! We took a break from posting last week to celebrate, but today we are back and better than ever!!

It’s amazing how one little milestone can make all the difference. In the past, I’ve written about how turning 5 tends to excite children and parents alike. However, I underestimated exactly how big the overall changes would be. In just a week’s time, Mads seems so much more confident and mature. What’s more is she’s making even greater strides in her development at school.

Though the last few years have been crazy, they have also been some of the most satisfying of my life.

I knew early on that I wanted to be a dad, however, I never dreamed that I would find so much joy just by loving a small little person.
