Welcome to the Mad’s Dad Blog, an outdoorsman’s take on raising a daughter.

My name is Matt, I’m a single father and I live in Southern California with my amazing daughter, Madison. Over the course of the last few years, I have been on the most amazing adventure learning how to raise a daughter in modern society.

My Goal

The goal of this blog is to share my unique experience as a dad with others and to provide laughter and enjoyment for all.

As a dad it is my only job in life is to show my children what it means to be a man and a gentleman. What my children see will be the basis for all of the relationships they form with others. I have a responsibility to do all that I can to ensure they are successful. This blog is a part of that. Maybe someday long after I am gone they can look back at this and know just how much I love them.
